This event will celebrate the 21st anniversary of Graduate Fashion Week. Each June Graduate Fashion Week stages a static exhibition showcasing the work of some 50 universities across 52 courses, and approximately 21 university fashion shows. The prestigious Gala Show and Awards presentation takes place on the last night.

Graduate Fashion Week aim to promote and nurture the talents of today’s young, creative innovators, so that tomorrow’s creative industries can continue to play a major role in the economy of the UK and the rest of the world.
Graduate Fashion Week is completely non-profit making and all costs are met from sponsorship, ticket sales and stand revenue. In the following years the event attracted title sponsorship from Esprit, BHS, Topshop, and River Island. They are now delighted to announce George ASDA as their Title Sponsor for 2012.

Over the years Graduate Fashion Week has launched the careers of such brilliant British designers such as, Stella McCartney, Julien MacDonald, Antonio Baradi, Hussein Cha-layan, Christopher Bailey, Stuart Vevers and Owen Gaster.
Graduate Fashion Week sponsor George had the following to say about the show:
“At George we are very excited about being the headline sponsor for Graduate Fashion Week – one of the key events in the British fashion calendar. We are passionate about fashion, and about working with young talent – no matter which part of the fashion industry they are hoping to break into. Our head office houses hundreds of graduates and delivering popular ranges for our customers wouldn’t be possible without them. This commitment and drive from our very own graduates helped us see that supporting GFW in its year of need was without a doubt the right thing to do.”
