A radical new hospitality service – and the first of its kind in the UK – is now on offer at leading West London venues, Earls Court and Olympia.
Leith’s, caterers at the iconic exhibition, conference and special event centres, have introduced a new online stand delivery service to simplify and speed up the process of ordering catering for the 30,000 plus exhibiting companies using the venues each year.
As the first venues in the country to offer an online service, exhibitors can now order a wide selection of tea, coffee, soft drinks, alcohol, food and nibbles online – 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The new service signals the end of the faxed order says Jane Govey, Leith’s general manager at Earls Court and Olympia: “All of our customers are used to working online and the new service allows them to make their order at a time that is convenient to them - and all at the click of a button!
“This new flexible system also means exhibitors can also add to their orders close to the event if numbers change. Some food needs to be ordered 72 hours in advance but other items can be delivered within the hour. We’ve also introduced an even greater variety of food and, in many instances, better prices for the customer.”
Jeremy Probert, Director of Communications at EC&O Venues (owners and operators of Earls Court and Olympia) welcomed the initiative and said it reinforces the venues’ position as industry leaders. “We always go that little bit further in everything we do to ensure organiser and exhibitor satisfaction, and it is great to work with a valued partner like Leith’s to provide a service that so exactly meets customer demand. It’s brilliant.”
