Nigel Nathan promoted to Group Managing Director at EC&O Venues
The Board of Earls Court and Olympia Venues is delighted to announce the appointment of Nigel Nathan as Group Managing Director with immediate effect. All operating divisions will report directly to him.
Nigel has been the Managing Director of EC&O Venues for the past year; his new role will encompass overseeing the management and business strategy of EC&O’s venue portfolio including Earls Court, Olympia and the Brewery. The promotion comes as EC&O Venues gears up for the 2012 Olympics, with Earls Court being chosen as the venue to host the Olympic Volleyball championships.

Nigel Nathan has a career spanning over twenty-five years in the industry, and has held several key positions such as Managing Director of Blenheim PEL and Blenheim Online, Director of Events at the Business Design Centre, he was responsible for launching International Confex, and co-founded Touchstone Exhibitions. Nigel has been at EC&O Venues for nine years, in 2007 was made Managing Director of the company, and is Chairman of the Events Industry Alliance (EIA) and a Board member of the Association of Event Venues (AEV), having previously been its Chairman.

The business comprises Earls Court, Olympia and the Brewery, London’s leading venues for exhibitions, conferences and special events.
