EC&O Venues Earls Court And Olympia

Earls Court and Olympia are delighted to have been awarded prestigious silver and gold sustainability gradings by Green Tourism for London. The assessment required both venues to demonstrate their rigorous sustainability policies in full, and included analysis of energy consumption, waste management, marketing of green messages and communication to staff.

Emma Wellman, EC&O Sustainability Advisor said: “This is true recognition of all the hard work that EC&O staff have invested in the scheme. Both Earls Court and Olympia strive to lead the industry in highlighting the continued importance of sustainable practices and we’re delighted that Olympia has achieved the highest accolade and that Earls Court is the worthy recipient of the silver award.”

The Green Tourism for London scheme is for hotels, guesthouses, theatres, attractions and venues in London and is based on the long-established Green Tourism Business Scheme.
