EC&O Venues Earls Court And Olympia

2010 sees the 6th annual Nailympics London held at Olympia Beauty. On 19-20 September skilled nail fanatics will converge to showcase skills, network and push their own boundaries to battle it out for a series of esteemed trophies.

The Nailympics started in the USA 10 years ago by three nail brands (EzFlow, IBD, Too Much Fun) who wanted to create an impartial, non-profit making nail competition.

The Nailympic Judges are flown in from all over the world to create an international flavour and bring fresh, new eyes to the event. The London event has attracted the most competitors ever seen at a UK nail competition. The Nailympics 2009 saw 22 countries compete in 215 competition seats. For 2010 already over 15 countries will be competing in what is fast becoming the Olympic Games of nail competition.

The judges include the renowned Marian Newman. Marian proudly claims over 50 Vogue covers in her role as one of the top leading session techs in the UK today. Enjoying activities that include fashion week, editorial and celebrity nail grooming, Marian also writes
nail standards, is chairperson of the Nail Services forum at Habia, is an author of technical journals and product innovator.

The event attracts some big brand sponsorship, which this year includes the legendary OPI.
