Euro Attractions Show Chooses Olympia for UK Outing
Olympia is delighted to have been selected to host the IAAPA (International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions) Euro Attractions Show in 2011.
The annual peripatetic event will be held from 27-29 September in both the Grand and National Halls and is expected to house more than 270 exhibitors and 9,000 participants. This is the first year that the event will take place in the UK under IAAPA’s ownership, having recently been staged in Rome and Amsterdam.
Anna Golden, Commercial Director, EC&O Venues said; “We are delighted to have been selected by the IAAPA to host this truly international event. Being the IAAPA’s venue of choice is further proof of Olympia’s status as a world class exhibition venue.”
Mats Wedin, Chairman of the IAAPA Europe Advisory Committee added: “Going to London for EAS 2011 is a natural progression for IAAPA and the Euro Attractions Show. With our strong relationship with BALPPA (The British Association of Leisure Parks, Piers & Attractions) and the large number of attractions in the United Kingdom it is, without question, one of the best places to take EAS.”
