Sustainability

Earls Court and Olympia are at the forefront of event sustainability, and in recognition of this, we have won the 2010 Event Magazine Green Award, two AEO Excellence Awards, and a Visit London Gold Award, for our sustainability initiatives.

Earls Court and Olympia venues are certified Gold and Silver for Green Tourism for London.

Earls Court and Olympia venues in London are the winners of the 2010 Event Awards Green Award.

Visit London Awarded Earls Court and Olympia Gold for Sustainable Tourism in 2008.

Over the last year we've taken great steps forward in the areas of energy efficiency, recycling and waste management and now even have a tool to measure sustainability.

We are fully committed to continuing to make progress in these areas and we are proud to represent UK Venues on the committee which developed BS 8901 -the British Standard for sustainable event management. We were also the first venues to be certified under this new standard.

Sustainability Report 2010/11

Every year EC&O Venues produce a Sustainability Report.

This includes information on CR policies, sustainability initiatives, community and charity work, company values, recycling and waste management and much more.
