George Michael Tickets

Our attention has been brought to a fraudulent website offering George Michael tickets. Needless to say EC&O Venues are in no way affiliated with this company.

If you have purchased tickets from www.sosmastertickets.com please continue reading below.

You appear to have been the victim of a ticket tout operating in the secondary ticket market.

Unfortunately there are a number of companies that offer tickets for sale for events but who are not in fact appointed retailers for shows. These companies give the impression that they can supply tickets for high profile events, but frequently fail to deliver because they were not provided with an official ticket allocation by the event promoter.

Because we have no record of the individual or company from which you made your purchase, we are unable to supply you with tickets.

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO NOW

  • If possible, contact the company that sold you the ticket to see if there is anything that they can do.
  • If you want to attend the event you should buy a ticket from the Box Office.
  • Contact your credit card company as soon as possible to let them know that you have not received the goods that you have purchased and to see if they can arrange a refund under your card insurance.

You may also want to report the matter to your local trading standards officer and/or a consumer rights body such as BBC Watchdog.

As you may know, the UK government has recently conducted a review of the issue of ticket touting but concluded that the market should apply self-regulation to protect the public. If you feel strongly about what has happened today you may also want to write to the Secretary of State for Media, Culture and Sport at the following address:

Rt Hon Andy Burnham MP
Secretary of State
Department of Culture Media and Sport
2-4 Cockspur Street
London
SW1Y 4DH

We recommend that you only purchase tickets in future from authorised ticket agents and venue box offices detailed in the advertisements for shows.

Please click here for guidance on how to buy tickets in the future.
