Notice
These terms and conditions govern the sale of car parking tickets by Earls Court and Olympia Limited of Earls Court Exhibition Centre, Warwick Road, London SW5 9TA ("the company") over the telephone or from our website at www.eco.co.uk. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before purchasing any tickets. By placing an order for tickets over the telephone or from our website you will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
1. Purchase of Tickets
Tickets can be purchased on-line from our website at www.eco.co.uk or over the telephone by calling 0871 871 9809. Group bookings are not available on-line and must be made via the telephone booking service.
Ticket prices are as displayed on the website or quoted by the telephone operator at the time you make your booking. All prices are in pounds sterling and inclusive of VAT. A booking fee will be charged to cover administration costs.
Ticket orders will be deemed to have been accepted on receipt by you of your pre-booking reference number. If you make a booking on-line, your reference number will be sent to the email address that you have provided. If you make a telephone booking, you will be told your reference number by our operator. This will be confirmed to you in writing by post or by email to the email address that you provide to us.
You will be asked to provide payment by credit or debit card prior to receiving your reference number. The Company may refuse or cancel your order if your card payment is rejected.
2. Conditions of Ticket Use
Pre-bookings are valid for the designated car park location and selected dates only. On arrival at the designated car park you should present your pre-booked ticket or the credit card with which the booking was made. You should not take a ticket from the entrance barrier. If you take a ticket from the entrance barrier, or you use a different credit card from the credit card upon which the booking was originally made, YOU WILL BE LIABLE TO PAY NORMAL PARKING CHARGES as displayed on the tariff at the entrance to the car park. No refund will be available for your pre-booked ticket or any additional charges that are incurred. If you exceed the parking time allocated to you by your ticket you will be liable to pay additional charges at the normal car park rates. You will not be able to exit the car park until such charges have been paid. If you lose your pre-booked ticket or the credit card with which the booking was made or if the pre-booked ticket or credit card is stolen, you will be liable to pay the normal parking charges as displayed on the tariff at the entrance to the car park and will not be entitled to any refund.
Use of the car park is subject to the Car Park Use Terms and Conditions.
3. Changes and cancellation
You may make changes to your pre-booking by telephoning the booking line on 0871 871 9809 at least 2 working days before the first parking date. For changing your pre-booking we charge an administration free of £10 or (for pre-bookings for a period in excess of 7 days) £20. The Company cannot guarantee space availability on different dates or at different times to those which you have pre-booked.
You may cancel your ticket booking by notice in writing to the Company giving your booking reference number, credit card details and a contact name and telephone number. Cancellations can be made by email to paul.field@eco.co.uk or by post to the Assistant Services Manager, Business Services, Olympia Limited, London W14 8UX. Cancellation is not effective until the notice is received by the Company.
If you cancel your booking, the refund policy is as follows:
Cancellation received 7 days or more before the first parking date - full refund of the ticket price less a cancellation fee of £10
Cancellation received less than 7 days before the first parking date - full refund of the ticket price less a cancellation fee of £20 or (where the booking is for not more than 1 day) £10, unless cancellation is received less than 2 working days before the required parking period in which case no refund will be paid.
The cancellation fee is to cover administration costs. The booking fee is not refundable. No retrospective refunds will be made under any circumstances.
The Company may cancel your booking at any time. We will endeavour to give you at least 48 hours notice of any such cancellation. However, if the car park has to be closed in an emergency situation, it may not be possible to give notice of cancellation of your ticket. In the event of such cancellation the Company will refund the price of the cancelled ticket(s) and shall have no further liability to you.
If your designated car park is not available for any reason the Company will make reasonable efforts to provide you with alternative parking facilities at a reasonably convenient location. You will not be entitled to a refund of the ticket price if such alternative parking space is available.
All refunds will be made directly by credit to the card on which the original payment was made.
4. Delivery of tickets
Tickets are not normally issued other than for group bookings. Where a ticket is issued, it will be sent by first class post to the address for delivery that you have given. In the case of group bookings, tickets will be sent to one nominated address.
If a booking is made within 48 hours of the required parking period, tickets will be available for collection at the relevant car park on confirmation of your name and reference number.
If within 48 hours of the required parking period you have not received your ticket or confirmation with your pre-booking reference number, or if you have received a damaged ticket, please telephone 0871 871 9809. Tickets are posted at your risk. The Company will not be liable for lost or damaged tickets once issued.
5. Disabled badge holders
If you pre-book a parking bay reserved for disabled badge holders, to gain entry to the reserved car park location you must present your pre-booked ticket or the credit card with which the booking was made.
Please note that, from 1 January 2004, car parking for disabled badge holders at the front of Earls Court One will no longer be complimentary and will become available for pre-booking. From this date, customers who book a parking bay reserved for disabled badge holders at the front of Earls Court One will be sent a voucher either by post (telephone bookings) or by email (on-line bookings). The voucher must be displayed in the vehicle whilst it is parked at this car park.
